M e d i c i n a c a r d i o v a s c u l a r ARTERIOPATÍA PERIFÉRICA Los pacientes con arteriopatía periférica sintomática se be- nefician de la terapia antiplaquetaria con AAS (100 mg/día) o clopidogrel (75 mg/día). No está indicada la doble antiagrega- ción ni la anticoagulación. En caso de embolismo arterial periférico de origen cardia- co (por ejemplo FA), sí estaría indicada la anticoagulación oral, pero no se recomienda la doble terapia antitrombótica, esto es antiagregación junto anticoagulación (16).
